I am Maria Damico aka Dama born in Palermo class 73. I was born an entrepreneur in the field of fashion, in 2018 I discovered my passion for painting, finding in it a pure expression of feeling. Each painting carries with it something of what has happened in my life; testimony of personal moments and experiences. The canvases, through the colors that I fix directly with my hands, discharge those emotions such as to be able to reveal the depth of the soul. The predominantly used colors are those of the sea, the basic element of my works, the sea, a refuge, a meeting place for serenity. Direct contact with the colors between my fingers arouse in me that feeling of freedom, a hymn to life, a shiver through the soul… And its only love. I fix my emotions on the canvas, I would like to be able to awaken the same emotions in those who observe my paintings.
